Cops: Woman Stole From Target, Again

The following arrest information was supplied by the Washington Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Netcong woman was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly stealing hundreds of dollars of goods from the Target department store on Rt. 46, Washington Township Police Lt. Mark Niemynski said.

Det. Sgt. Chris Bratus was patrolling the store’s parking lot when he noticed Danielle Vitiello, 20, acting in a suspicious manner when attempting to get to her car, Niemynski said.

When Vitiello attempted leaving the parking lot, Bratus stopped the car and found Vitiello had stolen approximately $400 in merchandise from the store, Niemynski said.

Vitiello has allegedly shoplifted from the store on several occasions, resulting in thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise, Niemynski said.

Vitiello was charged with third-degree theft and was released with a court date.
