Fight Ends With Disorderly Conduct Charges, Cops Say

Washington Township 19-year-old suffers nose injury in alleged altercation.

A Washington Township teen suffered a nose injury in a fight earlier this month in Hackettstown, police said.

Andrew Barresse, 19, of Washington Township, and Jeffrey Moore, 23, of Independence Township, were each charged with disorderly conduct.

According to Hackettstown Sgt. Darren Tynan, officers responded to the 100 block of Franklin Street regarding a physical dispute Dec. 16 at about 1:30 a.m.

Officers discovered Barresse and Moore had been in a fight, Tynan said. Barresse suffered a nose injury in the altercation, but declined medical treatment, Tynan said.

The two men were charged and released pending a court appearance.
