A Hackettstown man was arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault, according to Warren County Prosecutor Richard Burke.
George C. Brown Jr., 40, was arrested without incident at his home on Flemming Place Thursday in connection with sexual assault of a minor, Burke said.
Brown has been charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, two counts of second-degree sexual assault and two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
The combined charges carry a maximum of 80 years in prison if convicted on all counts.
Brown allegedly sexually assaulted a female teen while she was between 15 and 18 years old, Burke said. Brown also allegedly had the victim pose naked for pictures when she was 13, Burke said.
Bail was set at $150,000 by Judge Ann R. Bartlett with no 10-percent option. Brown’s bail also includes conditions that he is not to have contact with the victim, victim’s family or anyone under the age of 18. Brown is set to appear in court Friday at 1:30 p.m.
