Another string of car burglaries has hit Washington Township, this time in the northwestern section of the municipality, according to police.

One vehicle was broken into on Sunday, Oct. 20, while two more were burglarized this week between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, Lt. Art Adams said.

There was $132 taken from a purse in an unlocked vehicle on Old Turnpike Road between 1 a.m. and about 11:35 a.m. on Oct. 20, Adams said. Both unlocked vehicles in the driveway were entered, but nothing was taken from the other car, Adams said.

During the same time frame, two unlocked cars in a Kings Highway driveway were entered, and a laptop computer and a black canvas laptop case were stolen, Adams said. An unknown amount of change was also taken from the vehicle.
