Man Accused of Killing Paramus Woman Awaits Trial

Philip Cise of Dover will be transferred to a Pennsylvania jail to await trial for homicide charges related to a fatal accident which killed Paramus' Gabrielle Reuveni last summer.

The man accused of killing a young Paramus woman with his vehicle last summer soon faces trial in Pennsylvania where the fatal accident took place.

Philip Cise was back in Morris County Superior Court this past Friday where he was sentenced for minor charges unrelated to the accident which took the life of 20-year-old Gabrielle Reuveni, according to a NorthJersey.com report.

Cise, of Dover, was sentenced to jail time for two events which took place days before the fatal accident, the report stated.

He previously pleaded guilty to a single count of unlawful possession of a weapon after allegedly wielding an axe at a female customer at  a Rockaway McDonald's drive-thru last July. He also previously pleaded guilty for charges in an incident where he allegedly stole a pick-up truck in Jefferson.

In Pennyslvania, Cise was charged with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, and homicide by vehicle, according to nj.com.

Reuveni, who was the valedictorian of the Paramus High School Class of 2010, was jogging while on vacation with her family in the Poconos when she was struck and killed.

According to NorthJersey.com it was expected Cise would be transferred to a Pennyslvania jail this weekend to await the trial.
