Man Admits Causing Crash That Killed LV Teen

Car was speeding at 90 miles per hour when it hit tree, killing Josie Irwin.

An Easton, Pa., teen has admitted to causing a car crash that killed Long Valley’s Josephine Irwin in October 2010, and could face up to four years in New Jersey State Prison, according to lehighvalleylive.com.

Gussie Brown IV, 19, was driving . The crash killed Irwin, 17, and Sammy Reisberg, 18, of Hackettstown.

Brown took a plea deal that dropped the charges of manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident, and also consolidated charges from an April incident in Phillipsburg he was involved in, the report said.

Brown fled the scene with another juvenile in the car at the time, leading to a nightlong manhunt by local authorities.
