Mercedes Benz Stolen From Outside Long Valley Home, Cops Say

The car was last seen in the homeowner's driveway at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

A Long Valley resident’s luxury vehicle was stolen from a Wolfe Run Court driveway Wednesday night, and police are searching for the thief, according to Lt. Art Adams.

Police received a call at 8:50 a.m. Thursday from a resident stating the car had been stolen, Adams said.

The vehicle, a 2011 Silver ES350 Mercedes Benz, was taken from the home’s driveway, Adams said. An investigation revealed the car was last seen in the driveway around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Adams said. The keys to the unlocked vehicle were in the car, Adams said.

Adams said the connection between this incident and recent car break-ins in the area would not be ruled out, but the motives did not look similar.

There were no other cars on the cul-de-sac roadway that were broken into, Adams said.
