Police Support Special Olympics in Torch Run

Members of Washington Township's Police Benevolence Association took part in Hackettstown run.

Members of the Washington Township Police Benevolence Association Local #301 recently participated in the New Jersey Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special on Friday, June 8 in Hackettstown.

The event was held in conjunction with the Hackettstown Police Department PBA, and runners made their way through the streets of Hackettstown after kicking off the event at Mars, Inc.

Washington Township Police Officer Adam Feichter, William McCarthy, and Lieutenants Mark Niemynski and Doug Compton ran in the event. Also on hand was #301's treasurer John "Corry" Lee.

The Washington Township PBA donated $500 to the New Jersey Special Olympics.
