Possible Bomb Scare Under Investigation

Resident says she heard 'loud boom' near her home early Thursday morning.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office is investigation what residents described as a possible bomb scare on Naughright Road Thursday.

First Assistant Prosecutor Thomas Zelante told Patch he would not comment on the situation, but explained there is an investigation underway.

“I do not believe there is a threat to the community,” Zelante said. He would not confirm—or deny—a bomb squad was used near the intersection of Naughright Road and Acorn Street.
