Second Arrest Made in Connection With Fairview Ave. Burglary

Long Valley man charged with receiving stolen property stemming from Oct. 12 incident.

A second Long Valley man has been arrested in connection with a burglary last month on Fairview Avenue, Washington Township Police said.

Zach Temple, 23, was arrested Tuesday charged with receiving stolen property after a continued investigation, Lt. Mark Niemynski said. Temple was served and processed at the Morris County Correctional Facility where he was lodged on unrelated charges, Niemynski said.

On Oct. 24, William Gallucci, 20, of Long Valley was arrested in connection with the same burglary that took place on Oct. 12, police said. Items stolen from the home included jewelry, cash, and a video game totaling $6,150.

Bail for Temple was set at $15,000 with no 10-percent option. Bail for Gallucci was also set at $15,000 with no 10-percent option at the time of his arrest.

Temple was arrested in October after running from Mt. Olive police when a resident there found the Long Valley man in her home allegedly attempting to burglarize the residence.

After an interview at Mt. Olive Police headquarters following that incident, Temple was charged with burglary, theft of moveable property, possession of stolen property, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, possession of prescription legend drugs, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Alprazolam), possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstruction.

Temple was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail with a 10-percent option on Oct. 22.

The investigation into the Fairview Avenue home is ongoing and further charges are pending, Niemynski said.
