Speeder Had Heroin and Pot in Car, Police Say

Warren County man arrested on Route 46, police report.

A Warren County man was arrested for possession of heroin after Washington Township Police stopped him for speeding, Lt. Art Adams said.

Stas Allen, 20, of Washington Township (Warren County), was pulled over on Route 46 for going over the speed limit just after noon last Wednesday by officer Michael Thompson, Adams said.

When Thompson was speaking with Allen, he noticed marijuana on the floor of the vehicle, and glassine baggies used to package heroin, as well as a clear straw, Adams said.

After Allen was taken out of the vehicle, Thompson found the man had heroin on him, as well as marijuana, Adams said. Thompson also found a pipe used to smoke marijuana, empty heroin folds and straws used to snort drugs, Adams said.

Allen was charged with possession of heroin, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
