Teen Kneed, Punched in Face Outside Wendy's, Cops Say

16-year-old Hackettstown girl charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.

A 16-year-old Hackettstown girl attacked another teen by kneeing and punching her in the face during a dispute outside Wendy's Tuesday night, Hackettstown Police said.

The 16-year-old, whose name was not released due to her age, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.

According to police, the 16-year-old attacked a 19-year-old Great Meadows teen in the Wendy's parking lot at about 7 p.m.

The girl was released to a parent, pending a court appearance.

Well, at least the poor kid got better, faster service than one normally gets at that Wendy's (although, in fairness, Chester's Wendy's is soooo much worse . . . )

was surprised seeing it was teenage girls. Figured the delinquents who hang outside all the time blasting music, showing off their ugly riceburner cars and doing lame BMX tricks were behind something like this, like someone insulted their ride and they got all defensive...
