Wanted for Burglary, Man Arrested in Hackettstown, Cops Say

22-year-old Long Valley resident believed to be connected to October jewelry theft, police said.

A Long Valley man wanted for burglary was arrested in Hackettstown Monday on an outstanding warrant, Washington Township Police said.

Samuel E. Grullat, 22, was detained by Hackettstown Police on Lawrence Drive Monday at about 2:30 p.m., Washington Township Lt. Douglas Compton said.

Grullat's arrest stemmed from a Washington Township residential burglary in October, Compton said. According to Compton, Det./Sgt. Christopher Bratus linked Grullat to the incident from jewlery taken in the burglary that was later sold at local pawn shops.
