Wanted Man Arrested on Larceny Charge, Police Say

Hackettstown resident had additional municipal warrant out of Washington Township, police report.

A Hackettstown man wanted for larceny was arrested by police Monday, Sgt. Darren Tynan said.

Lawrence Sweet, 39, was wanted by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, and also had a $500 municipal court traffic warrant out of Washington Township (Morris County), Tynan said.

Sweet was stopped by Hackettstown Police for driving with a suspended license, Tynan said.

Sweet was lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility.
