Election Preview: Washington Township, West Morris School Boards

Unless write-in votes obtained, seats will be open on boards following elections.

Three seats are up for election on the Washington Township School Board, with just two incumbents being put on the ballot in November. At the regional level, three Washington Township seats are open and one Chester Borough spot is available.

The two incumbents running for election on the K-8 school board are Perry Kwok and Kristin Gallagher.

Three Washington Township incumbents for the regional school board are all running for re-election. They are Tom Richar, John Meyer, and Joseph Galayda.

Those three candidates did not complete Patch's questionnaire. 

No resident of Chester Borough filed paperwork to run in the November election. If a write-in vote is not cast during the general election, a resident will need to be appointed by the board in 2013.
