Update: According to a message received on Sunday evening from Sgt. Douglas Compton of the Washington Township Police Department, only two roads remain closed after last weekend's snowstorm.

In an email, Sgt. Compton identified North Four Bridges and Old Turnpike roads as the two remaining road closures in town.

  • Middle Valley Road from Zellers Road to Califon Road
  • North Four Bridges Road from Bartley Road to Laketown Road
  • Old Turnpike Road from Mt Lebanon Road into Lebanon Township
  • West Valleybrook Road from Frog Hollow to Samantha Lane

Washington Township Sgt. Douglas Compton said drivers should not go around the barricades on those roads. They are there for safety, and the roads contain power lines on the road that may become live at any time.

Residents who live in an area within a closure should use good judgment in selecting a safe route to get home, he said.
