Centenary College to Host Career Fair

Local, regional, national employers scheduled to attend.

When opportunity knocks, it's probably best to answer the door.

That knocking is going to be loud and clear on Tuesday, April 17, when Centenary College hosts a job fair, featuring 40 local and national employers.

The Career Center at Centenary College will host a Spring Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at the John M. Reeves Student Recreation Center at Centenary College. More than 40 local, regional and national employers are planning to attend, and job seekers will be able to obtain job leads from employers and establish a connection with the various companies that were represented. This opportunity is also available to members of the local community. Professional attire is required. 

Some of the participating employers include the Department of Law & Public Safety, Embassy Suites – Hilton, Apple Inc., Nordstrom, New Jersey Transit, Cablevision, Greater Media New Jersey, New Jersey Drug Enforcement Administration, New Meadowlands Racetrack, RoNetco Supermarkets, WABC and WPLJ Radio and much more!  A full list of participating employers can be found on the Career Center web page http://www.centenarycollege.edu/CareerServices.

“Hosting 40 organizations on campus gives our students, alumni, and members of the community an amazing opportunity to connect with employers,” says Michael Iris, Director of Career Services at Centenary College.  “Our intention of hosting employers from different backgrounds on campus can lead to establishing meaningful connections between the college and community, as well as employment opportunities.”
