Getting Well, Staying Strong with Healthy Food Demonstration at the Washington Twp. Public Library

"Getting Well, Staying Strong with Healthy Food" on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Twp. Public  Library, 37 E. Springtown Rd., Long Valley, NJ.

Start the spring season off with a healthy new you. Please join Sue Stimpson, Health Supportive Personal Chef as we demonstrate different cooking
techniques and discuss how to use food to help us stay strong and healthy. We will talk about a diet of whole unprocessed foods which helps us stay strong
and energetic, while avoiding pesticides and additives.

We will be sampling a smoothie, soup, a main course and dessert, all healthy and delicious too!

Sue Stimpson is a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute, NYC, where she received her formal culinary training.  She also studied at the Kushi Institute, Becket, MA specializing in the preparation of macrobiotic foods, and advanced her skills in "healing the body through food" at theStrengthening
Health Institute, Philadelphia, PA.

Sue developed her passion for preparing healthy delicious food and teaching others about the importance of eating nutritiously while experiencing
her own battle with cancer. Sue loves sharing her knowledge and different cooking techniques with others.  She works closely with people who possess sensitivity to foods, are healing from illness or people who just want to eat healthier.
