The Musconetcong Valley Community Association is pleased to again offer the “Welcome Amigos” program for children ages 3-5 at the MVCA building in the Valley Professional Center, 59 E. Mill Rd., Long Valley. Beginning on September 25th, the program will be held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10:00 – 11:30am, and will go until December 17, 2012.
Students learn beginning Spanish words through a variety of age-appropriate activities including crafts, art, geography, music, games and structured play. Each child compiles a personal take-home project based on what he/she has learned in the class.
The MVCA introduced “Welcome Amigos” during the summer of 2012. According to Jenny Panagakos, the program’s creator, it served two main purposes. “Some of the children were eager to learn Spanish. For others,the experience served as a gentle transition to independence in a comfortable small group setting. In all cases, they had a great time.”

Tuition for the program is $295 for the twice-weekly twelve week session.
