Freshmen Welcomed, College Degree Earned

Long Valley natives go off to school, another tosses cap with bachelor of science degree.

From Long Valley to Lenape Valley, two of the area’s newest college freshmen have been welcomed to a Pennsylvania college.

James Cicchino and Pamela Keating are part of an incoming class of 482 students to Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa., according to a press release from the school.

The school’s total undergraduate enrollment is an all-time high of 1,648 students.

Cicchino will be studying music education and Keating will be studying music business. Both graduated West Morris Central High School in 2013.

On the other end of the spectrum, Ronald Moore of Long Valley recently earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University in Indiana, according to a press release from that school.

Moore was one of 7,100 degrees awarded following the 2013 spring semester.
