Middle Schoolers' 'Reflections' Among Best in NJ

Four Long Valley students honored by state's Parent Teacher Association for artistic works.

Attaining good grades always makes a student happy.

But going above and beyond and garnering accolades at the state level for works in artistry is a whole new ball game of joy.

That's what four Long Valley Middle School students recently experienced, as Jill Iannuzzo, Maddie Shiembob, Collin Petronella, and James Tank received awards for their entries in the New Jersey Parent Teacher Association 2013 Reflections Program.

The students received their awards on June 15 at the McAneny Theater at the Princeton Day School.

Some 3,000 entries were submitted throughout the state.
