School Paper Paws at Freshmen Frustrations

West Morris Central offers up advice, helpful hints to incoming class.

The West Morris Central High School newspaper staff of The Paw didn't take the summer off just because class was no longer in session. Instead, it put together its first edition of the new school year, which directly benefits an entire grade's worth of students.

The Paw aims at helping incoming freshman learn about the everyday life of a Central student, explaining Wolfpack pride and the best ways to navigate the lunch line.

Editorials, including one from a school administrator, help ease the transition from eighth grade to high school, giving freshmen plenty of tips to be armed with on the first day of school.
