Students, Vets Salute Old Glory at Flocktown
Fifth-graders honor Veterans Day with local association.
Members of the American Veterans Association of Washington Township along with the fifth grade class at Flocktown-Kossmann School saluted Old Glory this week, raising the American Flag during a ceremony.
AVAWT members Marty Fleisher, Chuck Polvino, Bob Tighe, Bruce Turnbull, Jack Cannon, Larry Oppel and Tom McBride Sr. were on hand to speak with the class Thursday morning and talk about the importance of Veterans Day.
