Washington Twp. School Board Seeks Candidate

Member seat recently vacated.

The Washington Township Board of Education is seeking candidates for an open Board of Education member position, according to a press release from the school district.  

The seat was vacated by board member Pete Graziano.

Candidates for the Board of Education must meet the following qualifications:

  • US Citizen
  • 18 years old
  • Able to read and write
  • A resident of Washington Township for at least one year prior to the appointment
  • Not disqualified to vote pursuant to R.S. 19:40
  • Is a registered Washington Township voter

Also, a Board of Education member shall not be directly or indirectly involved in any contract or claim against the Board.

Interested Washington Township residents should submit a letter expressing their interest in the position and provide any information that may assist the Board in making a selection.
