The Washington Township Board of Education is seeking candidates for an open Board of Education member position, according to a press release from the school district.
The seat was vacated by board member Pete Graziano.
Candidates for the Board of Education must meet the following qualifications:

- US Citizen
- 18 years old
- Able to read and write
- A resident of Washington Township for at least one year prior to the appointment
- Not disqualified to vote pursuant to R.S. 19:40
- Is a registered Washington Township voter
Also, a Board of Education member shall not be directly or indirectly involved in any contract or claim against the Board.
Interested Washington Township residents should submit a letter expressing their interest in the position and provide any information that may assist the Board in making a selection.
