Who Should the Board Hire as Superintendent?

Everyone has opinions. Patch is the place to share them.

West Morris Regional Schools Superintendent Anthony di Battista's request for retirement was approved by the board of education Monday night, and now the search for a replacement is under way.

The board will begin advertising for di Battista's replacement this week, but members were somewhat split on how to go about the process. To learn more about that, go here.

Some board members feel the district should hire a current administrator, at least in the interim, if not for the longterm. Others feel that conducting an extensive search outside the district is going to return strong results.
