Another Race, Another Win for Long Valley Junior Wolf Pack Track

Meet against Mountain Lakes ends in victory, leads team to 6-0.

Undefeated has a nice ring to it, and the Long Valley Junior Wolf Pack keep hearing bells.

The track team of nine to 15-year-olds sprinted to another victory recently over Mountain Lakes, improving to 6-0 on the season with many athletes recording personal best times. The team captured 31 first place finishes, 30 second place finishes, and 29 third place finishes.

The 9-10 group was led in the 800 by Libby Masterson (3:04), Shannon Flammer (3:16) Elize Fracchiolla (3:22), Noah Turner (3:14), Gerrard Carratura (3:16), and Matthew Mancini (3:16).  In the 100 Rosalie Olsen (17:48), Natalia Agnolet (17:52, Maggie Macintyre (18:46), Scott van Woert (16:45), Noah Turner (16:58) and Jake D-Fredrickson (17:50). The milers were Shannon Carratura (7:13), Elize Fracchiolla (7:29), Olivia Montuore (7:32), David Brown (6:32), Scott Van Woert (6:41) and Jeff Cianfrocco (6:57). The 400 race saw Shannon Carratura (1:27), Libby Masterson (1:28), Susie Steward (1:31), Mason Gough (1:19), Jake D. Fredrickson (1:27), and Kurt DeChiaro (1:28).  The 200 sprint saw Rosalie Olsen (37:18), Maggie Macintyre (38.22), Natalie Agnolet (39:42), Mason Gough (36:57), Ethan Polen (38: 40) and Gerard Carratura (39:57).  Field events jumped out with Natalia Agnolet, Sydney St. Jacques, Libby Masterson, Trevor Hennebery, Jeff Cianfrocca and Ethan Pollen. The Shot put team had Shannon Carratura, Shannon Delguercio, Rosalie Olsen, Gerrard Carratura, Jeff Cianfrocco and Jake D-Fredrickson.

The 11-12 group saw many fast runners in their races as well led in the 800 by girls  Catherine Masterson (3:09) Sarah Hanifin (3:14) Colleen Hare (3:26), Jacob Dolan (3:10), Derek Jenkins (3:16) Nick DeChiaro (3:16) In the 100 the leaders were Luke Fredrickson (15:37), Sebastian Hughes (15:08), James Zeolla (15:45) Samantha Olsen (16:03), Juliana Agnolet (16:39) Caroline Isemann (16:55)  In the mile it was Molly Sabo (6:45), Sara Hanifin (7:06), Gabrielle Miller (8:05), Derek Jenkins. The 400 had winning times by Luke Doerr-Fredrickson (1:19), Ethan Stoute (1:16), Colin Gallagher (1:26) Caroline Isemann (1:15), Savannah Porrao (1:18), Chelsea Cochrane (1:19). The 200 had its fastest time with Savannah Porrao (33:46), Caroline Isemann  (34:35), Caroline Delong (35:96), James Zeolla (33:57), Lars Olsen (34:14) and Dean Hurley (34:63).

Field events were dominated by Caroline Isemann, Sarah Hanifin, Savannah Porrao, Doris Migliaccio, Sarah Datesman, Julianna Agnolet, Matt Hayden, Luke Fredrickson, Lars Olsen, Evan St. Jacques, and James Zeolla.

The 13-15 year old group rounded out the day with solid field performances by Sarah Datesman (10- 2 ½), Ava Lusskin (12–2), Crystal Robinson (12-10 ½) Mitch Butynes (11-8), Benjamin Girardy (14-6 ½), shot put led by Hunter Booth ( 37-9 ½), Ian Dalgleish 28-9 ½), Christopher Pollack 27-1 ½)  girls Caroline Hurley ( 20-11), Jessica Peerbolte (20-3), Mackenzie Hurley (16-6).

The runners were led by Ava Lusskin (2:56), Brianna Harmon (3:11), Ashton Young (3:20), Tyler Bishop (2:49) , Michael Migliaccio (3:02), Vincent Vuskalns (3:02). The 100 saw veteran sprinters Caroline Hurley (14:89), Crystal Robinson (14:94), Mackenzie Hurley (15:99).  The mile was anchored by Ava Lusskin (6:32), Rosie Lauezzari (7:23), Brianna Harmon (7:39).  The 400 saw Mackenzie Hurley (1:21), Meriel McGovern (1:30), Christopher Pollack (1:07), Hunter Booth (1:09) Mitch Butynes (1:12).  The last race of the day was anchored by Benjamin Girardy (29:91), Mitch Butynes (34) and Hunter Booth (31:19).
