Lady Highlanders Look to Ace Tournament Quarterfinal Match

West Morris Central will take on Demarest Tuesday afternoon in the NJSIAA Group 3 tournament.

The road to consecutive championships is paved with experience, and the West Morris Central girls volleyball team is traveling along with hopes of returning to the promised land.

After knocking off Toms River South, then Randolph in straight sets in the first two rounds of the NJSIAA Group 3 tournament, the Lady Highlanders will head to Demarest to play the perennial powerhouse Tuesday at 4 p.m., according to nj.com.

Central is the No. 7 seed in the tournament, and Demarest is the No. 2. A win would advance the Lady Highlanders to the semifinal game against either Paramus (No. 3) or sister school and 2013 Morris County Tournament Champions Mendham High School (No. 6).
