The 12U Long Valley Wolfpack won the Flemington/Raritan Baseball Tournament on Sunday, July 24, led by stellar defense and strong pitching.
Declan Healy and Charles Roehrich took the mound for the team, and the Wolfpack defeated the tournament hosts, 12U Flemington-Raritan, 4-2 to win the championship.
The 12U tournament had 12 teams from New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The Long Valley Wolfpack defeated Amwell Valley, Chatham, North Hunterdon, and both Flemington-Raritan teams on its way to capturing the crown.
