West Morris Boys Fall to Delbarton

Girls, boys swimming lose.

Despite Sam McClellan’s 24 points and nine rebound performance on Tuesday,  West Morris was unable to earn win No. 1, falling to Delbarton 61-57 on Tuesday at home.

Leading the way for Delbarton was Briant Hardin who hit five three-pointers and netted 18 points in the win. Ryan Curran and Rob Thoma each scored nine points, while Billy Carroll and VJ Johnson chipped in eight each for the Green Wave.

Pat Barron added 15 points for West Morris and Joe Morrissey recorded five points and 11 rebounds in the loss.

Girls, Boys Swimming Fall

The girls swim team fell to Chatham, 131-41, on Tuesday dropping their record to 1-2 this season, according to NJ.com.

Katie Papa was the lone winner for West Morris, as she took home a first place finish in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:19.14.

The boys swim team saw its record fall to 1-2 after Tuesday’s 125-45 loss to Chatham, according to NJ.com.

Wrestling Falls

The West Morris wrestling team fell to High Point, 39-24, in its first match of the season on Tuesday, according to NJ.com.

Earning wins for West Morris was Dylan Luciano (106 pounds), Nick Matthews (138), Gregory Wallace (152) and Zak Krulan (285).
