It's an annual rite of passage for each high school sport, but this Wednesday there's a lot on the line for the West Morris Central Ice Hockey team as it honors senior teammates who are playing their last season at the high school level.
The Wolfpack will take on Montville Wednesday at Mennen Arena at 7:45 p.m. Five Senior teammates – defensemen Mike Cotter, Zach Fischer and Chris Harquail, and forwards Zack Halko and Dan Devincentis, along with their parents, will all be honored that night.
For Fischer, the game is extremely personal, as his father coaches the Montville squad – the same team that beat Central on Dec. 1 in the season opener.
