Wolfpack Run Through Knolls in Season Opener

First game of title defense ends with two-touchdown advantage.

It didn't matter if the game was Thursday – as originally scheduled – or Saturday. The Wolfpack came to play.

In the first game of its title defense, the West Morris Central varsity football team got right back to business, rolling through Morris Knolls 21-7 at Wolfpack Stadium Saturday night, according to nj.com.

With just a 7-0 lead at the half, Central kicked up the scoring in the second half with a touchdown in the third and fourth quarter, the report said. Javier Murray had a monster game, racking up three scores and 140 yards on the ground.

Central heads to Randolph for its next game at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19.
