'Simply Summer' Crowned Best Salad Dressing

Long Valley Green Market's first annual salad dressing competition offers bevvy of flavors.

Some say a salad without dressing is just a bowl of rabbit food.

That’s why a group of cooking enthusiasts took to the Long Valley Green Market recently for its first annual salad dressing competition to be crowned in best of the lettuce-topping fare.

Long Valley’s Denise Scairpon won the inaugural contest with her homemade “Simply Summer” salad dressing, which can now be purchased at the Green Market in jar form.
