Where In Long Valley Is This?

We ask you, our readers, to identity where in Washington Township this photo was taken?

How well do you know your community? Put your observation skills to the test as we inaugurate "Where in Long Valley?"

Each week we'll put up a cropped photo from around Washington Township and ask you to identify it.

So, tell us where–and what–the photo shows this week. Post your comments below this article and give your best guest.

What does the winner receive? Title of that week's "Where in Long Valley" king or queen!

We'll be back on Friday with the answer and a larger photo of the object.

Thanks for playing!

Yep, Eagle.

Probably most of you know this, but the story is that the eagle is named "Bert" because someone, looking straight on, only saw the "bert" in "Li bert y" and came into Town Hall asking why it was named that.

We're not giving away the answer, but wanted to respond to RGJ's comment about the name 'Bert.' Readers surely know how the name came about after reading our posthumous profile on the sculpture's creator, Harry Robinson. And, if you don't know, go here: http://patch.com/A-qmbT
