Girl Scout Troop Seeks Community's Help

Service organization looking to assist Homeless Solutions.

Long Valley Girl Scout Troop 663 is seeking help from the community as its members strive to obtain their Bronze Award.

The troop is collecting goods for Homeless Solutions in Morristown, which provides temporary shelter for single men, women, and families as they work toward finding permanent housing.

The shelter provides a cold breakfast each morning, lunch on the weekends as well as a hot evening meal each day. All of the meals are provided by donations and are prepared and served by volunteers.

In addition to collecting goods, members of the troop will be preparing two themed dinners for the more-than-60 residents. One will be an Italian dinner night and the other a Mexican dinner night.

Donations will be collected at the next leaders' meeting and boxes will be available at , , , Sue Graybill’s home at 200 Flocktown Road, and Lauren Donahue’s home at 83 West Valley Brook Road.

Gift Cards (Shop Rite, Target, Walmart, etc. any amount)
Paper Products (Paper towels, toilet tissue, etc.)
Cleaning Supplies
Antibacterial Hand Soap
Coffee
Powdered Drink Mix
Sugar Packs
Breakfast Cereal
