'Got Soup?' Food Pantry Does, Thanks to Scout's Efforts

Food drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Presbyterian Church.

A Long Valley student’s charitable efforts have helped stock the local food pantry at the Presbyterian Church on Bartley Road.

Sarah Lombardo collected more than 400 cans of soup for donation to the pantry while working toward her Girl Scout Silver Award.

As part of her project, dubbed “Got Soup,” Lombardo also worked at the pantry, stocking shelves. She additionally completed grocery runs for the facility.
