It’s the last full week of September, and those fall temperatures are creeping in.
Long Valley’s biggest event of the year is now behind us, but there’s plenty to keep in mind as we look ahead this week.

At the end of the week, at nearby Chubb Park in Chester, the 15th Annual Chester Lions Oktoberfest will kick off Saturday, Sept. 28 from noon to 8 p.m. The event will carry over to Sunday at the same time, and admission is $6 for adults and free for children 12 and under. Find out more here.
