Residents Ready for Long Valley Rummage Sale This Week

West Morris Regional school board meets Monday night.

We’ve hit mid-October and there’s plenty of news going on around Washington Township. Let’s take a look at what you need to know.

Kicking off on Monday is a West Morris Regional Board of Education meeting at Mendham High School at 7 p.m. The school governing body’s only session of the month is the first since a demographer told the district it would see a decrease of 1,350 students five years from now.

The annual Long Valley Presbyterian Church rummage sale takes place this week, and will be open to the masses. From Monday through Wednesday the general public can drop off a variety of used goods – which can be found here – from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The actual sale will take place Friday, Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 will be $2 day, where customers can fill a bag for just $2.
