The final week of August is here! Can you believe it? We certainly can’t, and it’s a busy week ahead. Plenty to take note of, so get ready.
On Tuesday, the final meeting of the Washington Township School District Board of Education before classes begin will begin at 6 p.m. for the board retreat. The open session for the public will begin at 7:30 p.m.
There’s a special meeting of the West Morris Regional Board of Education on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Mendham High School. The board is set to discuss school safety and security, and action may be taken in regards to a project application approval for a regular operating district grant.
A free – yes, FREE – practice SAT test will be administered at Mt. Olive High School on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 5:30 p.m. and open to all students in the area. Mt. Olive High School is located on Corey Road in Flanders. Did we mention it’s free?!
Finally, we’ve got two questions for you this week: first, we’re asking residents which issue is the biggest current topic for them. Weigh in by going here. Second, we’re looking for neighbors that claim the coolest, most unique jobs around for a short series we’re working on. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Have a great week!
