Lead by Principal Gil Moscatello and Assistant Principals Robert Perkins and Anne Steffan, West Morris Central serves the Washington Township community's high school-age students. The school is one half of the West Morris Regional district, which also includes sister school West Morris Mendham. The district was established in 1958.
WMC reccently underwent a major expansion and renovation culminating in a new freshmen wing, auditorium and gymnasium in 2009. The school offers 45 clubs and extra-curricular activities in addition to a wide variety of team sports. The athletic department is lead by Kent Schilling.
