Street Corner Symphony Joins A Cappella Show

Was a runner up on "The Sing Off"

Street Corner Symphony will be at Mendham High School Saturday performing alongside high school and local groups. The band was a runner up on the NBC show "The Sing Off." Based in Nashville, Tenn., Street Corner Symphony is a six-person all-male a cappella group that cites gospel music as its main inspiration but performs a wide range of music, including songs such as “Hey Soul Sister” by Train and “Fix You” by Coldplay, according to an announcement from the school. Its debut album, “UnPractice Makes Perfect,” was recently released. Men in Black and Octet, the male and female a cappella groups at Mendham, will be hosting the event and performing as well.
