Towns Rally For Family of Mt. Olive Native
From Budd Lake to Belvidere folks are holding fundraisers for the family of Chris Connors, killed in a car accident last week.
Friends who knew him growing up in Budd Lake call him a "Laker for Life." And those in his new community in Belvidere call him one of their own. Now both communities are showing an outpouring of love and support for Chris Connors since his death in a car accident on route 46 last week. On Friday, Oct. 19 a baked goods sale is being held at Belvidere High School as part of the homecoming festivites. "Proceeds of the bake sale will be benefitting the Connors family," Melissa Altadonna Kramer, Chris Connors sister-in-law, said. Those who are interested in donating baked goods are asked to bring them by 6:30 p.m. to the field located at 809 Oxford Street Belvidere, NJ, 07823.
