Wanted Man Arrested on 4 Warrants, Police Say

Washington Township resident picked up in Hackettstown with larceny charge, police report.

A wanted Washington Township (Morris County) man was arrested in Hackettstown Sunday for having four outstanding warrants in his name, Sgt. Darren Tynan said. Shaun Reid, 30, was pulled over in Hackettstown Sunday, Tynan said. During an investigation, it was learned Reid was wanted for a $255 Newark municipal court criminal warrant; a $150 Jersey City municipal court criminal warrant; and a $108 Jersey City municipal court criminal warrant. Reid was originally sought by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department for a charge of larceny, Tynan said. Woman Had Drugs in Car, Stole From Bank, Cops Say

Hackettstown woman stopped for motor vehicle violation had illegal drugs in car and warrant for defrauding bank, police report.

A motorist's broken license plate light led to her arrest by both the Hackettstown and Washington Township police departments on charges of drug possession and stealing from a bank, authorities said. Megan Harvey, 26, of Hackettstown was stopped Saturday night by Hackettstown Police for the motor vehicle violation, Sgt. Darren Tynan said. During an investigation, police learned Harvey was in possession of two suboxone pills, two hypodermic needles and three empty heroin wrappers, Tynan said. When Hackettstown Police arrested her, they learned Harvey had a warrant out for her arrest in Washington Township. On multiple occasions Harvey made fraudulent ATM deposits at the Tri-Co Bank on Rt. 46 in Washington Township, then withdrew the funds, …

Wanted Man Arrested on Larceny Charge, Police Say

A Hackettstown man wanted for larceny was arrested by police Monday, Sgt. Darren Tynan said. Lawrence Sweet, 39, was wanted by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, and also had a $500 municipal court traffic warrant out of Washington Township (Morris County), Tynan said. Sweet was stopped by Hackettstown Police for driving with a suspended license, Tynan said. Sweet was lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility.
