Because careless drivers continue to (pick one or more): drive over the speed limit, engage in distracted behavior such as using cell phones, tuning stereo, eating etc, have poor eye/hand co-ordination making them incapable keeping to the right of any curved road without crossing the yellow lines... The reasons go on and on! I have had multiple near hits this week in Washington Twp., with drivers…   more ›

Weather of other factors? There have been construction vehicles sitting there (on 206 in Byram), with partial construction done for over two years now! I commute through there every day and rarely is any work being done. Someone should put question marks on all the "Road Work" signs.   more ›

I moved to Chester in 1975...while looking for a home there was a big gas truck jack knifed with a gas spill right at the intersection of 206 and Main street by Larison's. Since then there have been too many casualties on 206...people not stopping when a car is making a turn and rear ending the stopped car and 206 is not wide enough for these large tractor trailers to be on. There is NO room for …   more ›
