Teen Sexually Assaulted Minor, Police Say

Budd Lake 19-year-old charged with aggravated criminal sexual contact, child endangerment.

A Budd Lake 19-year-old has been arrested and charged with aggravated criminal sexual contact for an alleged incident with a 15-year-old girl, Mt. Olive police said. Sergio Barba, 19, allegedly sexually assaulted a 15-year-old female between July 1 and Aug. 31, 2012, Cpl. Eric Anthony said. Mt. Olive police launched an investigation on Jan. 2, resulting in the arrest of Barba the following day, Anthony said. Barba was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of $75,000 bail with no 10-percent option. The teen was charged with aggravated criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child. Mt. Olive police were assisted in the investigation by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office. Hackettstown Man Accused of Sex Assault of Minor

40-year-old held in lieu of $150,000 bail after being arrested Thursday.

A Hackettstown man was arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault, according to Warren County Prosecutor Richard Burke. George C. Brown Jr., 40, was arrested without incident at his home on Flemming Place Thursday in connection with sexual assault of a minor, Burke said. Brown has been charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault, two counts of second-degree sexual assault and two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. The combined charges carry a maximum of 80 years in prison if convicted on all counts. Brown allegedly sexually assaulted a female teen while she was between 15 and 18 years old, Burke said. Accused Teen Rapists Denied House Arrest

Family court judge says alleged perpetrators need to remain in juvenile detention center.

Two teenage males accused of raping a female peer will remain at Morris County Juvenile Detention Center instead of being released to house arrest, Judge Michael Paul Wright ordered Thursday, according to a report on nj.com. The boys, ages 16 and 15, whose names are not being released because they are juveniles, were arrested Saturday, Sept. 15 by Mt. Drunk Girl, 15, Sexually Assaulted at Flanders Home, Cops Say

Two teenage boys, ages 16 and 15, arrested for alleged incident last weekend.

Two teens have been accused of sexually assaulting an intoxicated 15-year-old girl at a Flanders home last Saturday night, Mount Olive Police said. The two Flanders males, ages 16 and 15, were each charged Wednesday with first-degree aggravated sexual assault of an incapacitated victim. The 16-year-old was also charged with aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The Mount Olive Police Department received a call Saturday night from a parent who was concerned her daughter was drunk at a Flanders residence, police said.
