Washington Township Recreation Department looking for resident input.
We've said it before and we'll say it for the rest of the year: Happy 275th Birthday, Long Valley! That's right, we're getting older–but wiser, of course–and it's time to celebrate an historic 275 years here in Washington Township. The Historical Society is running a presentation program, and there are other plans in the works from local groups. The Washington Township Recreation Committee is looking for resident input about what kind of event it should hold this summer. The group has a plethora of options to choose from. Vote in our poll below for how you'd like to celebrate 275 years with the rec committee. As always, thanks for your participation!

These will be held on three consecutive Saturdays from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The series is free and refreshments will be served. We hope you find the series informational and hope many of you will participate in the special celebration activities throughout the year! January 12 – Bob Pennisi will give a slide presentation titled “Railroads of Morris County in the …
