My wife, Andrea, and I have lived in Long Valley for 12 years. We've been happily married 28 years.

I'm a software engineer by trade, although my training is business, finance and economics. I've been employed in the manufacturing, fashion, Wall Street and mobile computing industries.

I'm a libertarian by philosophy, Republican by party. I try to influence the party and its members for the better. I can't say there has been much success there, and mistakes have been made along the way, but one must try nevertheless.

I'm a political philosophy junkie and have read many of the classics from Locke, Rawls, Hobbes, Hume, Mill, Marx, Hayek, Rothbard and Nozick (to name a few), although I'm drawn most to Locke and Nozick.

I'm not particularly religious, but comfortable with those who are (as long as they don't push it on me). I have a healthy skepticism toward organized religion or anyone who claims to have the answers on spiritual matters. How each man approaches his maker is personal and not entirely applicable to another.
