Long Valley History Goes to Print, Signed Copies Available Sunday

Historical Society contributes to national book series in conjunction with 275 year anniversary.

In celebrating its 275th anniversary of the area’s first settlers, the Washington Township Historic Society is doing whatever it can to get the word out about the town’s rich history.

And that includes contributing to Arcadia Books’ “Images of America” series, co-authored by Betsy Guzenski and Charlotte and Juergen Arndt, according to dailyrecord.com.

Guzenski, vice president of the Washington Township Historical Society, said the organization was contacted by the publisher to write the town’s history as part of its series, the report said.
