Poll: Does Our Police Force Get the Job Done?

Crime rates have gone down, and so has number of officers.

According to the Uniform Crime Report, Washington Township's crimes dipped from 2009 to 2010, the most recent year with available information.

In that same time span, the department lost three full time members, and a total of eight since 2006.

So, Long Valley, is the local police department doing a good job? Have the cuts in staff effected the squad–or you?
