Hackettstown Band Rocks 'America's Got Talent'

The self-proclaimed rock band Reverse Order, of Hackettstown, spent a night on one of America's biggest stages Tuesday, performing in front of a live studio audience and millions of viewers with hopes of making it big.

As a YouTube finalist given the chance to perform on "America's Got Talent," a reality-competition show, Reverse Order was one of 12 acts to take the stage and be judged by the show's evaluators including Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel. 

The band, comprised of Cruise Russo, John Russo, Drew Katsock and Frank Spangler, performed a rock version of Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl."

The judges weren't blown away, but agreed a little more time together as a band may be the missing piece to their success.

Voting for the show's acts took place directly following the conclusion of the show, and according to the band's Facebook page, fans came out in droves, saying they voted dozens of times from numerous phone and computer devices.

"Thank you so much to all the AMAZING fans that watched us and voted for us tonight! We love each and everyone of you so much and you mean the world to us!" the band said on its Facebook page. 

But the fan votes weren't enough, as Reverse Order was eliminated from the competition Wednesday night. Only four of the 12 acts from Tuesday's show were going to move forward to the semi-finals.
