Hurricane Irene Forcing LV Business Closures

We'll keep you updated on what businesses are shutting down and for how long.

With Hurricane Irene moving in on Washington Township late Saturday, businesses are beginning to close their doors in preparation.

So far, said on its Facebook page it would close at 9 p.m. Saturday and stay closed until the storm had passed through.

According to a comment from Gia Biribin Groeling on Long Valley Patch's Facebook page, Clearview Cinemas in Hackettstown has already closed as well.

MOVE! Long Valley has canceled its BODYSTEP class for Sunday, Aug. 28, according to its Twitter account.
